Founder & Principal

Andrea Ramunno founded Rise in 2022, after serving as the National Finance Director in John Fetterman's successful race for the US Senate, raising over $70 million and smashing record fundraising numbers in Pennsylvania.

With nearly fifteen years of political experience, Andrea is skilled at crafting unique and creative fundraising programs that regularly exceed expectations. Focusing on staff training, systems and organization, and utilizing all available tools, Andrea builds programs that meet and exceed the needs of the campaign. 

She has been nationally recognized for her political work, most recently being named as a class of 2025 40 under 40 honoree by the American Association of Political Consultants. She has also been recognized in Pennsylvania as City and State PA’s 40 under 40 Rising Stars in 2017 and again as a City and State Philadelphia 40 under 40 awardee in 2023.

Andrea was previously a Principal at another fundraising firm, where she worked with numerous Democratic causes and candidates up and down the ballot at all levels, from President to US Senate to State Legislature to City Council.

In the 2018 cycle, she was the Pennsylvania Finance Director for US Senator Bob Casey, helping to lead the finance team that raised $22 million and funded the largest win margin for any of the “Trump 10” states.  

She has also served as the the Finance Director for the Pennsylvania Democratic Party in 2016, when the Democratic National Convention was in Philadelphia. She has also worked with State Senator and Democratic Appropriations Chairman Vincent Hughes, the DCCC, and Obama for America, as well as with various state and local races.

Andrea served on the Planned Parenthood SEPA Action Council and is a former board member of the Montgomery County Democratic Women’s Leadership Initiative. She is also a Big Sister with Big Brother Big Sisters Independence Region.

Andrea is originally from Youngstown, Ohio and graduated summa cum laude from the University of Akron with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science with minors in women’s studies and pre-law philosophy, as well as a certificate in applied politics. She lives in Jenkintown, PA with her husband, son, and and three rescue cats. GO BIRDS.
